I'll rush through my first few days, they were a bit of a blur.
First night:
Landed in Bangkok, got a taxi (death ride) to my hostel, which might go down as the cleanest place in the world. The guy who ran it though was a DON, his name was Ron, what are the odds.
So I get to my room, have a sit, then wonder what the hell i'm gonna do now. I think it was about 6pm. Later this night I hear some English sounding voices, turns out they came from English people, two guys on a Thai holiday just arrived that night. Awesome fellas, I hadn't slept in...probably about 24 hours but I went out with them to the clubs.
Turns out Roger Sanchez was playing live, I wasn't amazingly excited seeing as my musical tastes mirror that of a young girl but I went in anyway. It. Was. Awesome. I think falling in love with red bull this night was a big factor to messing up my sleeping patterns for the next few days.
I spent the next three nights in Bangkok. Hit the worlds biggest market (probably) 90,000 stalls it had, including a section which seemed to be dedicated to vintage shoes and converse. I'd decided not to buy anything though, I was strong, and didn't. Power!
Third day in Bangkok just hung around the pool, met some guy who had lost his passport, I don't think i've ever met anyone more gutted. He actually couldn't get home, i'm sure he's lollin now though. Or stranded in Thailand. Either way I'M laughing.
Bus down to Phuket after this, they showed Snakes on a Plane.
Dubbed in Thai.
It was Shit.
I tried to watch this movie in English and it was shit, turns out one way to make it worse is to remove the English language. They also decided to show it about 3 notches louder than Very Loud so sleep was out of the question for the first part of the journey.
I arrived in Phuket at sun rise, got a taxi straight to Tiger Muay Thai, again sleep deprived. I sorted accomadation and paid them a lot of money, also turned out on my day of arrival it was Muay Thai Day, so some monks were coming by to bless the camp and its members. I stayed for that although after the amount of sleep i'd had I wasn't sure if it was all real. It was and it was awesome.
Sooooooo now i've been at the camp for like two weeks. My days go like this:
Wake Train Eat Train Eat Sleep
And it is saweeeeet. Met some awesome people, roughly about a new one every day. I've got some mad thai boxing skills now, and some mad muay thai shorts. Short Shorts, muy sexy.
I'm also loving it, except every food outlet seems to want to fill you up with rice. I want some more meat. Then again I can't think of a time when more meat is a bad thing. Maybe ramadan, where everyone would just get ticked off because they couldn't eat the delicious meat.
Out tonight, No training tomorow, gunna go crazy broadway style.
Love.

First Post, and i'm eating raspberries
I've retired ye olde and original rad kicks (Richie's Kickin Rad Kicks both left and right edition) I was gunna take them all around Thailand but an angel in a dream told me to get some new rad kicks and use them to keep my feet from ever gracing the pavement bare in a thai street.
So I abided, these kicks come with an overall white feeling with a black nike swoosh to inspire me to "just do it" whenever I happen to look at my feet, the floor, or my feet on the floor.
PHOTOGRAPHIC EVIDENCE
I mainly just wanted to see if my blog works. I wasn't OVERLY interested in telling you all about my shoes. Although it has been an adventure.
